Who knew Lachlan could be so babygirlll!!

I loved seeing Lark and Lachlan's relationship develop! Definitely less action and gore than in the first but I did enjoy the moments we got in this one!!

Its been a while since I read the first book, so it took a little time for me to refresh myself on the characters and events from that book.

I really loved both these characters, they were both really well written and their relationship was what I love - a slow burn and fake marriage. 

I dont feel this book had as much killing as the previous book, but there was still the mystery of who was after them.

It was also good to learn a bit more about the brothers past.

Onto the final book on the trilogy, I feel like we haven't really learnt much about Fionn so intrigued for his story.
