Wasn’t much drama in this book but that was a good thing. However knowing how the future goes….

Pink was just too much for me! He was so sweet and caring and broken. I needed to wrap that boy up like a burrito and hold him close (which is what Monty wanted as well!). I loved Monty too. I felt for him so much. With all the junk with his family… but I gotta say, Monty’s little bro… omg. I thought my protectiveness came out with Pink, but Laurie squeezed even more out of me. This book was a mofo rollercoaster! I couldn’t put it down. I just love Monty and Pink so much. #justiceforlaurie

Precious, precious!

This was such a lovely story. Pink and Monty, a vessel and a mage.

Pink needs to be emptied from his swirling magic and it needs to be done by a mage.

Monty is a nerdy mage.

They agreed that Monty would help Pink when needed.

Monty is head over heels.

Pink is confused by the kind and considerate mage, who wants Pink to have good experiences.

This is terrible. I don’t want to feel like this. Being numb to it all, is much, much better. Far more bearable.”

You think just put the two together and they have their hea. Nah, it’s not that simple.

It’s a vivid story, with all these lovely creatures and their partners from this series.

The main characters are so lovable!

This author excels in writing hurt comfort and I greedily absorb it all.

There are still a few stories to tell and oh boy I can’t wait, so excited.

While there are many characters and overlapping timelines, the author explains everything clearly at the beginning of this story, so (I think) it’s not hard to pick up, from any installment.

I suggest starting at the beginning because it’s such a great series!

Pink’s story is everything I’d hoped or this sweet, young man. He and Monty’s love story gave me all the feels and I was hooked immediately. A wonderful read!
