My favorite Calamity man!
I loved Wilder and Iris’ story. Wilder being the closed off, broody hunk and Iris the sweet and bunny. Grumpy sunshine at it’s finest! I think Wilder is my favorite because he’s my husband to a T.
I love the calamity series and this book fit right in. I recommend this to everyone who loves small town romance, grumpy sunshine and forced proximity.

I loved grumpy Wilder & sunshine girl Iris! Forced proximity, brother’s best friend, age gap. I love the spotlight placed on showing that the traditional post graduation track isn’t for everyone and that’s okay!

Another solid listen from this series. I normally don’t love age gap but this was 35/25, so at least both mature adults. I liked that they were foils for each other but in a complementary way. The drama wasn’t too over the top and there was no 3rd act brakeup. The mmc doesn’t let the fmc leave without asking her what she wants to do and they have a frank honest mature conversation. I don’t know that I felt the connection between the 2 completely and I wish there had been a few more mundane scenes around town instead of all the spice scenes to better showcase that connection
Also, I know that the mmc was a bit of a loner, but he clearly knew and was known but the rest of the town so I wish there were a few more scenes with other characters, not his students, to better build out the world.
Listened to audio and the narrators were both good. Especially during the emotional moments.
