I cannot say enough how much I love all of this man's book. Not only are the hugely entertaining, but also irreverently funny and smart. His series for tween/teens is no exception! Recommended for all!

Really more like a 3.5. I ripped through the whole thing in a day. It was entertaining and imaginative, as all his books are. I just don't happen to like this particular series as much as his others. Still totally worth a read.
Things have calmed down after Jennifer sorted out the whole Last Dragonslayer issue. Life at Kazam is plodding along as usual with not enough work/money and still no sign of their missing boss. However soon the King is in cahoots with Kazam’s rivals at iMagic and it looks like greed is going to get the better of them all. Can Jennifer possibly find a way to stop a hostile company takeover, recover wizards from having been turned to stone, protect a Quarkbeast from hunters, protect the public from splitting Quarkbeasts, win a bridge building competition and generally keep magic out of the wrong hands, I mean, fingers? This was a fun and enjoyable romp!
This is by far my favorite Jasper Fforde series. Such fun writing, easy to breeze through, difficult to put down. Sorry family who needs my attention, I want to know what happens next to Jennifer Strange and her motley crew of magicians.

Fun, quick read. Jasper Fforde is pretty amazing in that he makes nonsensical things kind of make sense. :)

A lot of fun. The humour and pace and plot engaged me more than book 1, but again I don't think it'll stick with me for all that long
