I had high hopes for this book, and I was a little disappointed. Bonnie’s character aimed for outgoing and brash and kinda fell flat with a few iffy one liners. We didn’t get to experience the main characters falling in love, and instead it was a week or two together and insta-love, followed immediately by the third act breakup. It didn’t feel like a lighthearted book. It felt like if Bonnie didn’t have Rowan, then she felt like a complete failure.

Pretty sure the male narrator is using a computer to voice the women in his chapters. He also sounds as English as he does Scottish, and his American accent sounds English, too. If you’re going to buy the audio hoping for a sexy Scottish narrator, prepare to be disappointed.
