The story started good and had a lot of promise but lost momentum along the way. It was trying to be too funny when it a lot of those jokes didn’t land. Bonnie was over the top “sunshine”/quirky and was just super annoying. Moving to Scotland was Dakota’s idea and she didn’t help Bonnie with anything at all. She was too worried about her new relationship. She was a shitty friend to Bonnie. She called her self absorbed but that should have been directed towards herself. Rowan was the only highlight of this story. He was also a little too grumpy, almost going into the mean category. There were things I liked about the story but the bad out weighed the good.

The book had a lot of potential but the ending felt very childish. The audiobook narrators were great!
