I loved this.

The small town vibes, found family, family relationships were all hitting so well.

I just wish it was dual pov.

Book 3 in the series was probably my favorite of the 3.

Link, the fire chief, and Mac, the trauma doctor who saved Aldo's life, come together in a dramatic fashion. Their story happens later than the first two, so there are no overlapping, repetitive scenes. There's decent banter, great characters (aside from Makenzie's horrific family), and a great dog.

This one reads more like the newer LS books that I love, so I'm excited to jump into the next series by her.

3.75 rounded up.

Oh my gosh. This book was way better than the last two and I loved it. I could not put it down.

At no point did I feel like there was too much filler and I loved every second of it. From start to finish I was hooked.

I loved Linc and Mack (who I kept accidentally reading as Mark, my bad), and of course Sunshine!

Overall, amazing book and I'd definitely recommend to Lucy Score and romance fans.
