My fav novel. Everyone should read once in their life. The characters are really realistic, both the main character Raskolnikov and the side characters like Svidrigalov. I loved all of them. Especially Dounia she's coool. The plot was awesome too.

A pretty good read overall. It seemed to drag a bit at times as I was forced to sit through conversations that didn’t add anything to the plot except to delay big moments. The introspection done by Raskolnikov and the characters of Dunya and Sonya balanced these parts out nicely though.

although I personally struggled a bit with this book, I think in the end it’s very good! you really have to dedicate yourself to understanding the plot and characters, and i feel that it’s very… russian. but I did enjoy it!
