A welcome departure from the cookie romance novel. Rather than the typical blazing hit of porno level sex scenes, inbetween short bursts of plot where characters fly by devoid of real connective substance, Planning Bliss takes its time. Michelle Quinn offers a delicious palette of emotionally complex characters. This book was a luxurious ride into a world full of longing and angst riddled heartbreak that culminate in a human connection deep enough to stand on its own. My only complaint about this book is I longed for more from Levi's perspective. The bonus chapter filled in a few tidbits that would have added to the understanding of their overall connection had it been sprinkled throughout, even in tiny doses.

One note however, I read this as the new, updated, Planning Bliss, edition but could not get the new edition to appear here even from Kindle. This book is no longer released as the cover and title indicate here.

Terribly cheesy but it was free lol I was looking for a light and mindless read and, well, this met the criteria...

While the story was interesting enough for me to finish it, there wasn't much substance and it was kind of infuriating how much she hated Levi but was just *so* drawn to him. Her actions didn't seem to match her feelings in my opinion, and while it wasn't quite inappropriate, but it was annoyingly lustful.

A cute book. Some clunky dialogue at times but a fast read where you can't help but root for love.

Light, fluffy, day on the couch kind of read. Fun. Predictable. Tugs the heart. Just what I needed for an afternoon off.

First time reading this author and I thought it was pretty solid read. Veronica was like the girl next door type to me. Someone I can see being a good friend. I think she had a lot of heart break and I just really wanted her to get that love of her life. She really had a hard time saying know but I have some friends just like her that no matter what they will let how the feel go to the wayside.

I liked it. I really wish we got Levi’s POC as well though.

I am lucky to be part of the Confessions of a wedding planner Blog Tour and get a copy to read and do an honest review.

This was my first time reading anything by Michelle and I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Veronica is contacted by her ex-boyfriend Jake who asks her to have lunch with him. She was so excited that he wanted to meet with her because she misses him. Jake looks so happy and only wants to ask if she would plan his and his beautiful French girlfriend’s wedding. He is going to marry the girl that broke him and Veronica up. She makes the mistake of saying yes that she would do it for him. Veronica’s best friend Chase doesn’t want her to be taken advantage of. Then there is the hot and sexy Levi who is Jake’s best man and he seems a little jealous when Veronica talks or when she is with another man. I don’t want to tell you too much as it would spoil this great story.
