This is a really important book. It is, however, graphic in it’s descriptions of different crimes. Great exploration of the horrific lack of compassion for survivors in Missoula. I do think it makes clear what most women already know - sexual violence is far, far more common than we are led to believe.

Pretty good, but some chapters rent exactly page turners. Also, there were some sections I wished the author had used a more neutral tone.

I’ve long thought about how to review this book, and the only words that come to mind are shocking, incredibly sad, horrifying, incredible, unbelievable. 

The pain from this kind of ordeal is never-ending, and if I could wrap my arms around every girl mentioned in the book, I would.
