A dark book, but still my kind of humor. Cool how the images tell a hole lot of the story as well, and not only the text itself. Also well developed characters.

I couldn't finish this. It was a little much. Maybe I would have liked it in my darker high schooler times, but I couldn't stomach the illustrations this go-round.

love Emily the strange. very simple "graphic novel" the story others are looking for is actually in the novel series. this is not that.

 Just a whole bunch of edgelord "not like the other normies" art and eksdee random stuff. Had I discovered this as an angst-ridden teenager, considering the first ever issue was published a couple years before my middle school days, I would have latched onto Emily with an embarrassing amount of glee.
