3.5 ⭐️ Decent read, with an interesting plot and characters. Felt a little disjointed at points, but overall entertaining.

I don’t know if it was just me, but by halfway through the book I was sure the person who wrote it was from the UK, not LA where the book was set (between British spellings of “kerb” (curb) and mentions of “but you’re an AmErIcAn CiTiZeN” it made me laugh 😅).

A really fun read. Teagen as a protagonist was really interesting, she’s very relatable and I liked her a lot. The supporting cast were all nice characters. The twist villain sucked though. And the ending felt very rushed.
the only lgbtq character and man of colour is the villain, wow, that’s never been done before /s. It’s so tiring and quite frankly that ruined a lot of the book for me
