fun but I don't have a lot of thoughts. i think a lot of kids would like this but I don't think child me would have bc i never cared much for pranks. i think the ritual felt a little weird but I liked that mr morris turned out to be good . the end was kind of unsatisfying ...i would have liked to know more about the fate of brentwood

The best part of this book were the main characters James and Ava, and their wonderful sibling relationship as well as the broader family relationship with their parents. Apart from this, I felt a little underwhelmed. It had a pretty slow start and lacked atmosphere.
