I have SO MANY WORDS about this book. Most of them go like this EEEEKKKKKKKKK. šŸ˜‚ Devoured it in 48 hours around a very busy work week.

Wow.  I thought I loved Rhett and Flawless, but THIS book absolutely and utterly has my WHOLE HEART.  Daddy Cade could do whateverrrrr he wanted to me.

The spice is top level, the wit throughout the whole book is hilarious and the vulnerability of both Cade and Willa and the way they help each other through it is just divine.  Luke is utterly adorable and his openness to Willa is so tender.  Harvey, as per usual, has perfect comic timing.

I'm glad there was only one appearance of Talia.....šŸ˜”

And finally........ HOW MANY BACKWARDS CAP MENTIONS WERE THERE?  I needed to be picked up off the FLOOR there were so many!

Cannot wait to get to the rest of this series.

wanted to love this for the single dad & age gap tropes but Cade just gave me the ick. especially his pov of Willa. like whoooo is about to nut in their pants just from seeing someone in a coffee shop? iā€™m sorry? i was cringing the whole time. i shouldā€™ve DNFā€™d but i am -motivated- to finish this series. the one redeeming factor was Willa and (the son) Lukeā€™s relationship

This book just felt like a lot of lost potential to me. Honestly, the worst part was that Willa being a horseback rider was SO underutilized in this book. Like, what do you mean she HAS A HORSE and she never asks if she can bring him to the ranch. NEVER. Entirely unrealistic. I don't like authors throwing in that the FMC of a cowboy romance can ride and then only use it for half a scene.

The pregnancy ruined this book for me. Willa was not characterized like someone who would be okay with being the barefoot mom and she changed VERY suddenly. It didn't feel right at all.

Yeehaw MF. This series just keeps getting better. Grumpy cowboy single dad and fiery confident nanny. Summer and Rhett from Flawless are great supporting characters and I loved getting a peak into their relationship again. Willa, Summerā€™s best friend and Cade, the eldest Eaton boy have a a tension filled and sexy summer at Wishing Well Ranch while Willa takes care of Luke, Cadeā€™s son. There are so many soft and funny moments between Willa and Luke. I loved this and cackled multiple times.  Cant wait for Jasperā€™s story.

ā€œAnd I realize in that moment maybe I am heartless after all, because the beautiful girl with the copper hair grinning back at me right now is the one who stole it.ā€

ā€œI donā€™t care. Donā€™t you get it? Iā€™m in love with you, Willa. Prickly legs, random carrots in your purse, pregnant, not pregnant. I want you.ā€

ā€œBeg.ā€
ā€œPardon me?ā€
ā€œYou heard me.ā€
Her lips donā€™t even twitch. Sheā€™s not joking at all. ā€œBeg.ā€
