Emery Rose’s Beautiful Box Set is one for the ages. Three books focusing on three siblings, and their loves stories. Beneath Your Beautiful is a love story full of angst, hurt, deceit, and healing. Eden Madley and Killian Vincent meet at Killian’s bar Trinity when Eden wants a job. Since Eden needs a fresh start, and Killian is convinced he is plagued by darkness their relationship starts rocky. There were many times in this book when I wanted to cry for Killian’s sadness, and the things he had been through. Eden became his sunshine, and it began to help him heal. Their love was beautiful, emotional, and rough but it was also perfectly imperfect for these two. The second book Beautiful Lies we meet Killian’s brother Connor and his long time on and off girlfriend Ava. With Connor he was an addict, and could never pull himself from that darkness. Until he finally comes home to make things right with his family. Ava has been hurt so many times that she can’t let Connor in again. This story is about forgiveness, secrets that need to be unburied, and they can finally began to heal and build trust. Book three is Beautiful Rush is Kiera Shaughnessy and Deacon Ramsey’s story. We meet Kiera in book two where Connor was forced to reveal secrets that he had discovered while he was away. Deacon we meet in book one where he shows up to help Killian one night. Kiera is a storm that can’t be tamed. She’s wild, a rebel without a cause, and loves the rush she gets from street racing. After winning a race she locks eyes with the last person she expected to see and that’s Detective Deacon Ramsey. Deacon is currently in the middle of a huge undercover operation that he can’t risk exposing. What he didn’t expect was to see his perfect storm Kiera there. When one night turns in two, and then into three. Will Kiera get her happy ending or is she plagued by so many secrets she can’t risk it. This series had me all in my feels, and I cried a lot. Emery Rose did an amazing job with these stories, and they need to be read. You can learn so much from these three couples, and their stories.
