Borrowed from the library. Sobbed viciously. Will be buying my own copy to reread and to urge other people to read. Made me hungry and sad and grateful.

I thought this was a really interesting memoir, it wasn’t what I expected based on the hype it had when it was published but I did enjoy it. Was reading it as part of a book club—we met when I was halfway through and the discussions were interesting, we all seemed to have a different impression of the book. I don’t think this one will stay with me in any memorable way, glad I read it though.
