I listened to this book in some places and read it in others and the series remains in my top 15 favorites. Hulda and Merritt are singularly one of my all time favorite couples to keep getting to know. The banter is good, the character development continues to be good, and the way they can equal parts second guess themselves while never truly second guessing each other is brilliant.

I definitely shed some tears in this story, in the end out of happiness and am looking forward to continuing to live in this world and may embark on a re-read here to round out the year.

I love this series and found this to be another great addition. There was adventure, a bit of mystery, and I liked that it was set in Victorian England.
