Great ending to an exciting trilogy filled with mystery, suspense, magic, silliness and a dash of romance. The consistency was there straight through. Looking forward to reading another series by this author.

I am certainly partial to this book as I have greatly enjoyed this series thus far. I really enjoyed the “smaller” scale of this book and its focus on Owein as well as Merritt and Huldas relationship. It felt a bit like a filler in the larger plot line, but also sets up a lot of interesting characters and dilemmas for later additions to the series. I will most definitely pick up the next one, but I am not waiting with bated breath for it to release.
