I enjoyed the back and forth between timelines,
the third act breakup always annoys me but I’ve come to expect it
I did enjoy that there was an actual plot outside of their relationship, I did feel that the secret was quite obvious from the beginning but maybe that’s just a sign I read too much.

Oh. My. God.

If I could give this 6 stars, I would.

It was touching, deep, emotionally relatable and a total page turner. Also, kudos to NS Perkins for including LGBTQ+ characters.

The plot was amazing, you really got quickly immersed in the story and couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. The characters were raw and often times, I found myself going « ugh girl! »

Overall I really enjoyed the read, and I am already looking forward to what else this author publishes, it’s basically liquid gold.

Loved this book! Friends to lovers and second chance romance is my fave trope. Will and Violet rightfully have a lot of pain and trauma they have endured at their parents hands but they find their way back together (with a little help
