I figured out what had happened as soon as it happened, but it was pacey enough that it didn’t detract from wanting to finish it, I wanted to check I was correct.
A reasonably good thriller.

I loved the idea of it, especially being set in the mountains, but just don’t think it was executed well. The killer was obvious, the twist in Erin’s backstory was weird (it’s just sad, not anything damming), there were too many lackluster characters.

Overall I thought this book was ok but there were parts I did enjoy. The book only takes place over the course of a few days but it seemed to drag on for much longer.
There are over 100 left after the killer is revealed and that is too much.
And I just can't with the chase scene at the end. It went on for way too long with every little detail and thought described. And the image of someone trying to run away in a full ski outfit and boots is just hilarious. I will say that the page that shows what happened to the killer is iconic.
I'd be interested to give some of her other books a try. I think they are definitely good if you are like me and like the idea of Agatha Cristie but hate how old-fashioned her writing is.

I thought this was an okay story. The beginning rundown of everyone at the company must work better in the physical book version than in the audiobook because I immediately forgot everyone. It would have made more sense to spread those little bios out over the first few chapters. It does feel like a lot of Ms. Ware's female characters hate themselves a whole bunch, which is a bummer.
