Finding Hayes

I knew Hayes would be my fav! I love the no 3rd act breakup those are annoying and I’m glad they finally had a talk on what happened earlier than later in the storyline. Second chance romance at its best!

I hate when a series ends because I always want more but now I’ll need to wait for Easton’s story!

Finding Hayes is my favorite from the Magnolia Falls serious! Love Hayes and Savannah friendship, banter, and their love for each other. Enjoyed reading this emotional rollercoaster and couldn’t put it down! Highly recommend! A must read!

This was a fun ending to the series. I loved the characters, how they reconnected, and their sweet romance.

Overall great!

Loved the girl next door story. My only dislike is the miscommunication trope. I hate it in every book, so I was bummed when they lost a decade over one simple misunderstanding. But such is the life of teenagers, I suppose! Overall though, adore how Hayes just kept showing up for Sav and fighting for her no matter what. I kept waiting for some third act heartbreak or hiccup that never came and I was pleasantly surprised by that lol. Perhaps the one miscommunication was enough.

The perfect end to this wonderful series!!

Hayes and Savannah are a match made in heaven. Their chemistry is undeniable! Their bitter banter was a lot of fun to read. The most beautiful part of the story was watching them strip down and be vulnerable with one another.

It is truly a beautiful story of love. I am so sad to have this series end. I will miss this found family like crazy!! However, Laura de-liv-ered on this final book! Friends to hate, to marriage of convenience, to lovers? Oh, absolutely!

Don't hesitate to grab this book! If you haven't read this series, 10/10 recommend!!!!! You will not find a found family to love more

ALC REVIEW: Finding Hayes by Laura Pavlov

Release Date: October 24, 2024 (OUT NOW!)
Genre: Romance
Format: Audiobook
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book # for 2024: #94

SYNOPSIS: Savannah and Hayes were best friends as kids, but one day Savannah stopped talking to Hayes. After a decade, Savannah returns to their small hometown after the death of someone close to her. Savannah needs a temporary husband and Hayes is more than willing to be that man for her.

MY THOUGHTS: This was my first Laura Pavlov book and it definitely will not be my last! I loved Hayes and Savannah so much! I’m always a sucker for a marriage of convenience and this one didn’t disappoint. Now, I need to go back and read all of the books on their series!

The audiobook was so good! I thought both narrators were fantastic. This is actually my second book this week that Andi Arndt narrated and I was a fan of them both!

Thank you to Laura Pavlov and Valentine PR for the ALC!

Savanah and Hayes are end game. They really are soulmates! Hayes and Savannah grew up as childhood best friends. She leaves Magnolia Falls and the friendship just ended. A decade later Savannah returns due to a funeral for a close friend. Hayes does not know what happened all those years ago but he is determined to make things better and get his best friend back. I love his commitment and love he has for Savannah. The forced proximity, marriage of convince tropes were some fo the best for this story. All the feels as these two find their way back to one another and become friends to lovers.

This whole series is perfection. I truly have loved getting to know this close group of friends and them all finding love. The friendship and connections made were really special. I will miss this small town and these characters we have become close with.

MY THOUGHTS

Laura Pavlov is a new to me author. I kept hearing great things about her books so I couldn’t wait to finally read one.

This book was so good. I just couldn’t put it down. Great pacing of the story and I liked the main characters.

I am so glad I read this one and I can’t wait to read the previous books in the series and other books that Laura writes.

I do recommend this one for sure.

5 out of 5 stars.

Finding Hayes is the last installment of the Magnolia Falls series, which follows a group of childhood friends. It is a small town, friends to lovers, fake marriage, second chance romance.

Hayes, a firefighter with the Magnolia Falls Fire Department, hears his childhood best friend who left without a word almost a decade ago is back in town. He held on to her for way too long, and has no idea why she would have left without a word in the first place.

Savannah (Savvy) is back for her stand-in grandfather’s funeral. She wants absolutely nothing to do with Hayes Woodson after his betrayal all those years ago. Until she finds out the stipulation in Abe’s will to inherit the money needed for her father’s cancer treatment: get married within 30 days and stay married for at least three months.

Hayes is ready to step up for her, but can she stand being married to him after hating him for so long?

I’ve been waiting for the last installment for Magnolia Falls for months, and I was ecstatic to be chosen as an ARC reader by Laura and her team.

Laura Pavlov is an auto-buy for me every time, and this book proved no different. The tension between the former best friends was top tier, and the spice was NOT lacking at all. I loved the firefighter aspect of this book as well.

I may have missed it, but I didn’t see a trigger warning for pregnancy but be warned there is a surprise pregnancy. It was fairly easy to see coming, and I was able to just skim those parts after without losing much of the story line.

You will not regret reading any of Laura's books, and I highly recommend reading Finding Hayes and the rest of the Magnolia Falls series.
