The end is here, and ending with Hayes was perfection. I absolutely adored Savannah and Hayes' story. There was angst, which I love and miscommunication, but it just added to the tension and didn't last long. I have loved getting to know all these characters and seeing them grow and become one big found family. Marriage of convenience is one of my favourite tropes, and this one delivered. The way Hayes is with Savannah will have you smiling ear to ear. They are just perfect together. Years apart and some anger will have these two fighting their feelings, but they can't hide them forever, and when they let go, their story will be one that leaves feeling all the things. I'm sad to say goodbye to these characters, but I'm sure we'll hear or see them again! Andi Arndt and Lee Samuels made me fall in love with these characters, and I really enjoyed this audiobook!

Once again, Laura Pavlov has blown my mind. Finding Hayes is a spectacular and heartfelt second chance story. Who knew grumpy Hayes Woodson would be THE best book boyfriend and the most loving and caring leading man? Don't get me wrong, he is still the grumpiest except when it comes to Savannah Abbot.
She is the missing piece, the one who makes him smile and complete him. When Savannah needs his help, Hayes jumps in without hesitating. They may have agreed to a fake marriage with the best intentions, but it becomes real within days because they have always loved each other.
There is so much healing in this book. 10 years' worth of drama and growth, which wrapped up beautifully. As with every other previous book in the series, I'll say this is my favorite story. Because as a whole, this series is so special.
The ride-or-die guys are everything a reader dreams of. And so are the women, all strong and fierce. While it's bittersweet to say goodbye to Magnolia Falls, I'm excited about what Laura will create next. I'm pretty sure it will be unforgettable, as every story has been since she started writing.

I have been waiting for Hayes story forever it feels like. Hayes and Savannah story was a perfect wrap up to this series. I love the continued small town feel with all the other characters still a main part of the story. Savannah and Hayes had the perfect connection and I loved ever second of it. I am a huge sucker for marriage of convenience tied in with child hood best friends. Laura just knows how to write a small two romance and I loved every single second of this series. I am so sad it's coming to a close, but so happy I was able to experience these characters!
- Childhood friends to enemies to friends to lovers
- Marriage of convenience
- Fake relationship
- Miscommunication
- Grumpy/sunshine
- Second chance
My word, I adored this book. Like absolutely consumed it like a tasty treat. My absolute favorite trope of all time is friends to lovers, but childhood friends? Yes, please!
This is the final book in the Magnolia Falls series and this book was such a fitting conclusion. At some point, though, I would absolutely LOVE a second generation book for Beefcake. That boy has become a fan favorite!
Hayes, a firefighter, is a grumpy loner. He recently has an opportunity for a promotion at the fire station as the captain is retiring. However, he has competition in the form of Lenny, the man who had an affair with Hayes' fiancee.... Lenny has a socialite wife now and is playing the family game to gain support.
Then Hayes finds out his childhood friend Savannah, who ghosted him ten years ago is back in town. Her pseudo grandfather has passed and she has inherited his house and land. However, there is a stipulation in the will that she has to get married within 30 days or she will lose the entire inheritance.
River, one of Hayes' best friends, is a lawyer and makes the suggestion that Hayes and Savannah fake a marriage. This would not only secure the inheritance, which Savannah needs to help pay for her father's expensive treatments, but it would help with Hayes' image for the promotion. The catch? They can't let anyone know this is not the real deal. Easy, right?
Hayes always had feelings for Savannah, mostly friendship, and was very confused and hurt that she stopped all contact when she and her father moved out of town. The move was the result of an affair her mother had, plus her father's health required treatments. Savannah had good reason to block him, or so she thought...
Now, married, they discover an attraction that they were not expecting. Have their fake feelings turned very real?

ARC Read
I was beyond thrilled to be given the ARC for this book, I love this series so much!
Savannah has returned back to Magnolia Falls for a funeral of a major figure in her life! She is only back temporarily until she gets the will from Abe, who passed away, and there is a stipulation that she must get married before she can get the land/money he left her! So who helps her but her ex-best friend, Hayes.
Hayes is a grumpy guy and has been through a lot! So, having Savannah back in his life feels too good to be true! He steps up for her even though she clearly hates him, but he has no idea why!
These two are meant for enough others, and I loved their banter and their friendship! I got emotional when they discussed the past and why there is a rift between them! Also, Nash and his heart to heart with Hayes was emotional and beautiful to read! And let's not skip over the "my wife" parts that Hayes says because I melted for that man every time!!

I can’t believe we had to say goodbye to Magnolia Falls. I’ll never be the same after this series

Finding Hayes is the last book in the Magnolia Fall Series and OMG it did not disappoint. Hayes totally stole the show and became my favorite MMC of the series. This book provided all the closure I needed from the series and it was beautifully written.
Hayes and Savannah were best friends when they were growing up, but suddenly she has to move and Hayes never hears back from Savannah not understanding the reason for her distance. Suddenly, Savannah moves back to town and she is in need of a husband so Hayes decides to save the day (what a sacrifice).
In the story, we get to hear about all the other characters from the Magnolia Series and Beefcake comes and steals the show, as always. Hayes character growth from book 1 to his book is incredible and we get to see his very protective side shine towards Savannah. Although he struggles to verbally communicate, he and Savannah both show up for each other throughout the book and their love story is based on friendship with makes the connection so STRONG!
Tropes:
* Childhood Friends
* Marriage of convenience
* Small Town Romance
* Cutler’s Godfather
* Protective Hero
* Grumpy / Sunshine
* Found family

I just don’t like the marriage of convenience trope. I think he also compared her boobs to a sandcastle at one point. Lastly, id just like to point out that no woman gets off from dry humping.
Okay I’m 3 glasses of wine in so forgive me. ALLS THAT TO SAY. I love this series so much and I’m so sad it’s over. My first Laura series and it has such a special place in my heart
