this last trip to magnolia falls is everything i could’ve hoped for. and closing it out with grumpy hayes finding happiness was the icing on the cake.
savannah and hayes were childhood best friends, but it’s been years since they’ve had any contact. something happened which led to them losing touch and ultimately ending their friendship. a decade later savannah returns to magnolia falls, a place that holds so many memories, especially ones that include hayes.
the connection that savannah and hayes had was kismet. the way they knew each other inside and out was incredible. no two people were more perfect for each other than savannah and hayes. seeing them interact with one another like no time had passed was amazing. their banter was outstanding and left me giddy. it was no surprise at the undeniable attraction they had with each other and the chemistry between them was electric. i loved their friendship so much and the progression to that something more stage was even better. the journey it took savannah and hayes to reconnect and put the past behind them and realize that all along they were meant to be was beautiful. soulmates through and through.
finding hayes was an incredible marriage of convenience romance with all the feel good small town vibes. i’m going to miss all these characters and their friend group so much. the magnolia falls series was such a heartfelt and wholesome series with characters that felt like family. this last book was the perfect ending to an exceptional series.
