Honestly I don't think I comprehended this book well enough to really be able to rate it or give a review. It was very strange. As someone curious about the occult and about spirtual/religious beliefs in general I'm glad to have read it, but the text is so challenging that I can't say I recommend it. It is surreal and ethereal, but at times completely dry. I often zoned out and sort of stared at the words without really reading them.

Exceedingly strange. My first alchemical/hermetics read. The use of the word "virgin" to refer to any unmarried women is particularly out-dated, sexist and irksome.
