Eh. It was okay. I wasn't really caught by it and I'm not really sure why. I didn't guess the murderer which is a plus. But, for some reason, I just didn't connect with the characters. I thought they were all great and Ruth was definitely my favorite, I just didn't click with them. There was a lot of background which may have been the reason I just didn't click with the characters. I did find the angst Ethan dealt with was pretty good; the book really captured the difficulty of a young man coming into homosexuality and I really felt angry for him when others would torment him.

All in all it wasn't bad but it just didn't work for me.

I was able to figure out who the killer was, but Kevin is so good that he made me keep second guessing myself.

This one was pretty good, but not QUITE as good as his others I've read. I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could.

Great read! Fast paced, moves smoothly. Definitely a keeper for a re-read in the future.
