I'll probably finish the series, but the Lewis trilogy is better. The Enzo Files is shaping up to be a series of fairly entertaining mysteries perfect when you need a quick read for an airplane trip or train ride.

My man's been set up! At this point I'm deeply invested in Enzo's life and I hate to say it but I was a tad emosh.

Favorite Enzo so far. This one was one where I didn't want to turn the light off and go to sleep because I so wanted to know what will happen next. Peter May just doesn't disappoint

The stakes were really ramped up in Blacklight Blue, the next instalment in the Enzo Macleod series. Amid assassination attempts, bombings and arson, Enzo unravels the next unsolved cold case. I enjoyed this book a lot more than the previous books, so much so that I read it in two days and couldn't put it down.
The pacing was great and I also really loved the flashbacks from the killer’s perspective, making it really satisfying when the two timelines all came together.
Despite the ending not being the most satisfying, the action and build up was still great and I’m excited to read the next book.
There was also a lot less sexism in this instalment, as well as some notable character development for Enzo and his daughter.
I hope Freeze Frame can live up to my expectations!

After solving two of the seven cold cases in Roger Raffin's book Enzo is about to tackle the third when someone starts trying to destroy his life. First they kill a woman he was seeing, then they try to assassinate his daughter and next they burn his other daughter's boyfriend's business to the ground. Follow that with hacking his computer, cancelling his credit cards and well, you thought you were having a bad day.

A mysterious woman named Anna comes into the picture and offers his family a safe place to stay as they try to hide from a serial killer but who is she really?

This is probably the best of the books so far. I am very excited for the next one in the series.

Blæh. Klarer ikke fatte hvorfor hovedkarakteren var så nasty. Pluss gjetta plot twisten etter 50 sider. Kjedelig
