Wow :D I’m enchanted.
Characters?
In the beginning, I wasn’t really a fan of Derrick, our cop. He’s a great dad, without any doubt. But the way he acts towards our lovely and adorable baker? I don’t like it. But hey, it gets better. Or rather, we get to know him as a better guy.
Chloe is awesome. I love her for being strong and determined. She doesn’t accept anything that’s below her, she knows what she wants and doesn’t put up with anything less than what she deserves.
Eliza, Der’s daughter, is adorable. She’s such a heartwarming and life-embracing girl.
So, what I didn’t like?
Derrick and the way he kept ignoring Chloe, our sweet heroine. That’s just a no-go and he never really has a reason to act that way towards her. Sure, he gives her an explanation but come on, that one was just soo bad it wasn’t even funny. It’s just disappointing that he didn’t seem to SEE her.
What I didn’t like either? Protection!! He’s a manwhore so why would she just out of the blue trust this guy? Accidents happen. Better be safe than sorry.
Writing style?
Very good. Not too many mistakes, keeps you going.
Plot?
Well, I liked it :D There’s some drama in there and an evil ex and mother.

Another winner!
I'm tearing through this series quickly and I digress I've found another go-to author. I'll be adding Jessica Prince to my notifications list!
This latest entry in this series is again a winner. The reader gets to experience the full range of emotions right off the bat. What's the cliche? You'll laugh, you'll cry... so very true for this series. These characters are so well drawn and so carefully developed that I want to move to Pembroke and be friends with all of them (though I want Navie and Rowan and Griffin and Pepper to move there too!!) Now I'm quickly on to Richard's story!!
