A straight forward commentary on what it means to love and care for one another regardless of differences. This book brought tears to my eyes several times while reading it to my little ones. The message, told simply, was poignant and resonated with me long after reading. An excellent book for children and adults.

Get the tissues ready for this one! A beautiful story about how a polar bear takes in a baby wolf until it is grown who in turn takes in a baby polar bear. Even though these animals would normally eat each other, kindness is shown between a mother and a baby. The illustrations are gorgeous and the message got me misty eyed.

Beautiful illustrations but I found the story kind of dull. Plus it did that thing were all animals are gendered 'he' unless proven otherwise. Also, isn't this a rip-off of Mama Do You Love Me?

This is a story about a displaced animal. Another older animal offers to care for them. This goes beyond a day and a night. It's a touching story of how animals of different species can decide to help and not harm those in need.

Illustrations on wood pair with simple language, in an odd tale of cross-special maternal love.

This is an adorable book with fantastic illustrations. A little wolf pup finds itself all alone in the tundra, and a grown polar bear comes along and offers to help.

Don't mind me, I'm just crying at work.

This beautiful story about a polar bear that raises a wolf pup is an
excellent read-a-loud for adopted, foster,
and step-families.
