need to sit with the ending for a while. this series was infuriating, incredible, funny at times, tear-jerking, lovable, everything all at one. it’s telling that i want to pick up the first one and start it all over again… but i think i’ll give it some time before re-reading. however, i’m now looking forward to finishing the lovely tv series based off of the books!

será que existe vida após a tetralogia napolitana? me encontro fazendo essa pergunta enquanto fito o abismo que o fim dessa leitura deixou na minha vida. esse volume em especial foi doloroso demais, e talvez a minha ânsia em terminar para saber qual conclusão elena ferrante daria à lila e lenu me impeliu de absorver as nuances que o volume vai adquirindo, talvez sendo o mais denso dos quatro. não vejo a hora de fazer uma releitura.
