GOOD BOY! by Michael Sweater, Benji Nate

Most of the time I am okay with anthologies, but I came to realize that the exception of that is when the anthology book in question is written and or illustrated by different artists, it makes me so overwhelmed with its fast switch of style, so underwhelmed with the length of the stories and the difference of quality, and I am never content with whatever it is providing as a whole.

the cover is super cool and I am so bummed that the content wasn’t as impressive. May fits someone else’s idea of a good collection of stories, but to me, it did not.

Really happy that this exists and I think it's a great first entry into an anthology/periodical featuring comic creators making comics about things they're interested in. I personally tend to crave more character/narrative-based comics but ya know, this isn't a graphic novel and plenty of those exist.

Some stories perverted and illogical.  Not for most people

Interesting first issue. Pieces from Benji Nate and Ashley Franklin-Robinson were standouts, which I kind of expected, but I also liked others, especially Konstantinos Moutsouvis', Sam Grinberg's, Alex Krokus', and Grayson Bear's pieces. Pretty good range of styles and genres.
