I really love Emily Austin's writing style. I think she does the best job of including humor in her books – I find myself actually laughing out loud at parts. Enid took a little bit of time to grow on me, but by the end I loved following her story. She shows such realistic growth throughout the novel. I feel proud of her for confronting the things that were bothering her, and just enjoyed her relationships with her sisters, Vin, Polly, etc.

perhaps the best book i’ve read this year - WOW! up there with my favorites. incredible characters so fleshed out. so relatable. also canonically based on a boygenius song. WHAT’S NOT TO LIKE?!

This book was an inside look of the mismatched thoughts and phobias one goes through during their healing journey. The story may be hard to follow and uncomfortable but I believe that was the feeling that the author wanted you to experience.
