Beautiful poetry and storytelling. I was particularly struck at the focus of the body and fatness. Wonderful read.
Moderate: Sexual assault, Sexual harassment, and Sexual violence
Minor: Eating disorder and Death

I entirely picked this book on the cover, so I’m surprised at how much I could relate to Wiley. There’s lots of unvarnished honesty in here. I saw a lot of reviews on that other site about it being “dramatic,” but I can only wonder if those people are just uncomfortable or unfamiliar with struggle. The relative plainness of the language in sections makes it less dramatic to me - it’s just what happened/happens.
The compilation starts out really strong with But They Say I Will Not Make It and then Mixed Girl. Other favorites were Glory in Two Parts, Fat Joke, A Green Book For My Niece, When We Were Kings, One Day, and Belly Kisses.
No One’s really hurt - if animal death gets you, please skip.
I didn’t relate as much to the dating stuff, but a lot of it was quirky and amusing. Some of the things pointed out as “bad” in reviews were so obviously bad on purpose I don’t know how anyone missed that being bad was the point (i.e., twists on pick up lines).

Nothing is Okay slowly takes your heart out of your chest and crushes it with its own self-love. I'm serious - this book is overwhelming. I love it. As a fat person, I have struggled with my fatness and using the word 'fat', but Wiley just takes all of those negative thoughts and chucks them out of the window. Wiley's words will empower you.
