A wonderful comfort book! Not much conflict which makes it a really relaxing read.
Russ kisses my shoulder and goose bumps travel down my arm. "You’re so beautiful," he whispers.
This is what being wanted and valued feels like.
To be honest, this book is less "smutty" than the first one. But still, there's no plot in this, WTF!

Idk why I read this book (maybe hoping to read another smutty book that blowing my mind). But, nah... I don't get it why I get to finish this book.
Also, I'll take a shot everytime they're saying "Daddy issues" and "sweetheart".

3.25 ⭐️ I had a much better time with this book than I did with Icebreaker. These two felt significantly more relatable and felt like just some people in their early twenties just trying to figure out life and relationships. I had a good time reading this and once I really got into it I couldn’t stop reading!
Not as good as the first in the series. Took me longer to warm up to the characters. Last act was really good.

I LOVED the summer camp setting, however, this camp was definitely much more relaxed than the one I worked at back in 2007 and 2009 (we had to sleep with the kids in our bunks EVERY SINGLE NIGHT and we had to be with the kids ALL DAY until they went to sleep).
This book has confirmed that I am kinda over the grumpy MMC - RUSS CALLAGHAN 4EVA!
My only qualm was that I felt like I was waiting for a big climax that never happened. I wanted something a little more dramatic I think... all the signs pointed towards some big reveal/drama that just never came.
