No thanks. I was bored and annoyed by the characters, didn’t like how the author portrayed homeless people nor racism either. Adding to the DNF pile for sure and happy to do it.

I was going to DNF this around 65% because I was so bored and it felt like the same domestic story I’d heard before, but then seeing friends rate this well (who are established as accurate eaters) gave this a 3 or 4 I pressed on and am glad I did. However, this is not a 4 for me overall but a solid 3
