You ever just have an anticipated read fall a bit flat? Cuz yeah, that was this for me...
I went into this with such high hopes because who doesn't want to read a summery tennis romance?
However, I struggled. I found Flora sp insufferable and half the time she opened her gob I wanted to slap her... I thought she would get better once she got the guy, but no, she managed to get worse. I think this is one of the first times I would say a third act break up helped the vook, if only it was for like a page. By the second half, things were looking up, they were being cute and coupley and it was sweet. And then I got to the epilogue... what a waste of an epilogue that was! I wanted to see big things and I feel like I got the opposite. The epilogue I got felt like it should have been 5 years on not 1.
Absolutely gutted I didn't enjoy this book as much, but at the same time not every book can be for everyone...

This was a fun and flirty little romance. As a big tennis fan I loved the amount of Wimbledon we got in this book.
