Wow! The original Prisoner of Azkaban was released TWENTY YEARS AGO.

I reread this one because I remember it being my favorite of the film adaptations. I have to say... the movie was much better. There was a lot of build up before the climax, like Trelawney's predictions, Qudditch practices and games, and forbidden trips to Hogsmeade. I don't feel like this was as suspenseful as the previous two books, especially after knowing all the plot twists. This was also when we learn about the Marauders and their connection to Harry Potter and Voldemort (one of the Marauders betrayed the Potters and framed Sirius). There are definitely a lot of interesting plot developments that come full circle in Deathly Hallows. I had an enjoyable reread and the illustrations are gorgeous.
