One of my favorites in the series. Hugely developing the characters now. Dark.
I LOVED this book!! It's my favorite out of the 3 so far (I mean that's not a lot but just a little update). I don't even know how to explain it I just felt that Harry got the family relations he deserved in this book. The last 50 or so pages I was smiling like an idiot. SUPER SUPER excited (: to continue. MY GIRL ROWLING NEVER DISAPPOINTING!
The writing is much improved in book 3. I also was pleased that there's so much more to the background of Harry learning about Sirius in the book than in the movie. And really, the miraculous thing about the Harry Potter series is that you can see all 7 movies and STILL want to read the books and STILL learn new things and STILL be surprised and eager to keep reading. That's some impressive in-depth writing with many layers to story and characters.
Also the true nature of the Dementors is much more clear in the book. The description Hagrid gives is particularly helpful, at least for me, how they use your own memories against you. Never quite got that from the movies; just that they were scary and drained your mind.

Im in love with this one ♥️ alot of details and emotions .. the patronus charm explained .. the secret keeper matter explained . But i don’t get it b why didn’t they include sirius’s letter to harry in the movie ! It was the best thing ever !!!
