A perfect conclusion to a wonderful saga.
How I loved them both! Together and as individuals. Wesley all grumpy and stuffy but full of love and Sebastian so sweet.
It was sad to see Sebastian without his magic but at least he had Wesley with him along the way. I really enjoyed them trying to find solutions to the situation and persevering until the end. It was lovely to see the characters from the previous books making appearances too.

-ARC given in exchange for an honest review-
This books follows right where we left off in book two: the gang trying to save the magic world from those who wish to take the magic away.
My favorite part OBVIOUSLY WAS THE ROMANCE! Sebastian and Wesley were even more adorable than they were in book two! On this instalment we navigate them trying to figure out how a relationship looks for them while they're also trying to save the magic world. Them falling more in love with each other was the best, those two bring the best out of each other. Wesley coming to terms with "having feelings" and expressing them was an amazing journey to be on. It came to a point where I WANTED them to stop trying to solve this magic mystery and just go somewhere alone so that they could be cute and in love without distractions. FOR REAL!!! Every time they were alone on page was not enough and I was left craving more of them together.
Allie Therin did an amazing job with this entire series. She tied everything so nicely while bringing some new elements in a way I was definitely no expecting. The way she weaves the magical aspects, the romance, establishes STRONG bonds between the characters and gives you a story that's easy to follow and not overwhelming at all? Should be studied and replicated. HONESTLY 10/10!

Allie Therin's Magic in Manhattan/Roaring 20s Magic series (two very interconnected trilogies; read all 6!) are equal parts 1920s fantasy magic and gay romance. It's got interesting magical systems, globetrotting to confront dastardly evil magic practitioners, and 1920s global upheaval, mixed with lots of hot scenes and absolute tons of gay angst—these men are just constantly pining for each other, thinking about how unworthy they are of love, making noble sacrifices, etc. (men will do something extremely weird to their auras instead of going to therapy). It's great stuff! In this one, the mix was just a bit less equal than in previous entries in the series, maybe because of the need to wrap things up; it seemed slightly lighter on plot and heavier on steamy sex scenes.
