I enjoyed this look at the first 10 years of The Simpsons. If you would have told me when I was 10 that there would be more Simpsons episodes that I haven't seen than have seen, I wouldn't have believed you. The show was that important to me growing up. I've seen every episode of that first 10 seasons at least 10+ times. I still remember getting dirty looks at church when I would sneak in Simpsons comics to read. That show is probably responsible for most of my sense of humor.
This book gives a rundown of what the show meant for 1990s culture, spotlights the creative writing room, and goes behind the scenes of important episodes.
Great nostalgia read. I'll probably replay some of my favorite episodes after reading this.

It was a great read about The Simpsons, which I watched with my family growing up. But I'm unsure if this is the best account of the history and impact as I have learned now there are many.
