This book!! I was laughing, I was crying, I was rooting for everyone. This book is a masterpiece. Ebony LaDelle’s writing is so fluid I flew through this book. I highly recommended!
Moderate: Sexual assault, Toxic friendship
This was a great read! I saw the referral from another book lover like myself and I am so glad I picked it up.
Danielle was smart, strong, independent, and I really enjoyed her character. What happened to her of course played a role into how she saw romantic relationships and I really appreciated that she didn’t just jump into it with Prince. She really did trust what she was feeling. I connected with her wanting to run away when it felt like it was becoming too much because I feel like that is so real. I love her relationship with her parents. I wish I would have had a relationship like that with my parents when I was her age. There is a date that she sets up for Prince and it was so thoughtful & kind. She really supported him the whole time in his dreams, but she also pushed him to not hold himself back.
Prince is adorable, strong, caring and I love how much he picked up his mom after their dad left. He is his little brother’s hero and when he was picking out books for him at the library that made me so happy. I thought it was so unique he had his own radio show, but I will say when the 25 year old called to ask his love opinion, that made me laugh

So my thoughts on love radio, I don’t know where to begin I a changed person after this book you know my standards have increased ten-fold after reading this book it’s that good, it’s that transcendent Prince and Dani are perfect for each other!!!! I never thought tit was possible for teenage boy to be so smart, kind and EMOTIONALLY INTELLIGENT, like every man on the planet should have a grasp like this on their emotions. I really appreciated on the their three dates who close they became and how they accepted each other for who they are I mean most adult romances aren’t able to do this and this and the ya romance did it beautifully. I though Dani’s SA story line has handled well and it was created that they pointed out that Prince can’t fix this for her and that this is something that she has to work on herself and that she has to be alone when she does it. In my opinion Prince is perfect and literally has no flaws but I did appreciate his story line of needing to ask for help sometimes and how it’s ok to not be able to do everything yourself all the time. One thing I didn’t apprwciate was the “I can make you fall in love with me in three dates” thing was actually taken seriously like I thought that was clearly a joke but OI thought this book was amazing 5 stars and Prince goes straight in book boyfriends.

It was a perfect little romance filled with all types of Black love, familial, platonic and romantic. I completely fell in love with the characters and i couldn't wait to get back into this book once I'd stopped reading.
