dnf@35%. The good angsty stuff all happened and resolved pretty quickly in the present. After that I wasn't interested.

This book is much different than Nick’s book. The first half of the book is a fast paced coming together and theoretically, it could’ve ended there. But as with the other book, there has to be some sort of conflict and suddenly have we have the second half of the book. I don’t know if it was necessary, but I guess it wasn’t a bad thing. The appeal of the Bennett Brothers is their ridiculous, over-the-top, possessive natures. But, it is appealing to have a man so in love, so obsessed with you and your well-being.

My favorite scene of this entire book came when the couple is in Boston. I’m not going to go into detail because I don’t want to add any spoilers, but too often when there is a challenge to a relationship by another female, the author will write the story so that the male will sit by and do nothing to reassure a female. Not in the scene! It was pure perfection! You’ll know what I mean when you read it. ;-)

Claire Dixon thought Mathis Bennett was the one, she should have thought one night stand. What Claire doesn't realize is that Mathis is walking away for her own good and to focus on establishing his career. They come together again though and while they do not hide they are together around family and friends it has a detachment that has Claire deciding she has had enough and walks away.

Mathis knows Claire is the one for him, but Mathis has a way of thinking his quick bullet point responses are understood by all. Clearly he has some making up to do to show Claire how important she is to him, but will the blunt speaking feisty woman give him a chance?

This was a lot of fun. I thoroughly enjoyed the evolution of Mathis. Claire and Mathis are a really intriguing couple and the story is not only about them building their relationship, it takes a whole unexpected turn that catapulted the story to another level.

I absolutely LOVED this book! Claire & Mathis’ story is both exciting and extremely heart warming. And of course very sexy. LOTS of sexy times.

I love the Bennett men, especially when it’s just the three of them! They made me laugh out loud and I couldn’t help but love them even more in this book.

If you’re a Bennett family fan you will definitely want to read this book.
