a girl and her younger sister grow up in the shifter realm as servants of a tyrannical beta at his tavern. (99% of the population are normal, the rest are ABOs = special) After she turns 20 years old she gets kidnapped and trained with ABOs for war against fae.
This book reminds me a bit of the acotar series; however, in this book it's shifters against fae and there are alphas, betas and omegas (and I felt like the style of writing was less complex/easier) . So if you liked acotar you'll maybe also like this one.
I personally think that the world building could have been better and sometimes the actions of the characters weren't quite understandable.
For example:
The MC grows up with a man who hurts her every day & her only family is her younger sister who she wants to protect from him (for basically her whole life) . And then, after being kidnapped, she's thinking about the other alphas more often than about her? That somehow made her sister seem unimportant. (I already forgot her name)
And some things were repeated very often, like how small & fragile she is or the scent of the alphas, etc. It became a bit annoying after some time.
Overall, it was a quick read but nothing special. Also, please read the content warnings before you read it if you've never read anything similar.

Like if you're searching for a omegaverse book with a pretty cocky female lead and relations with high key mixed messages, this is for you.
I personally got it recommended as a enemies to lovers book which I don't entirely see.
In conclusion, it wasn't the worst I read, not the best either, but it did manage to captivate me, considering I inhaled in like 2 days :D.
I'm off to read the second one now.
