A really really good high fantasy with interesting, flawed, fleshed-out MCs and great stakes. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have some minor problems with the writing (some of the POVs occasionally seemed to switch in the same section and got me confused) but the story, worldbuilding and characters were so good that they easily eclipsed anything else.

So good! I loved the characters. Part of me thought it plodded along at some points, but after finishing it, all the parts were good because they helped develop the characters more. I also listened to the audiobook and the narrator was fantastic; it really made the story come alive even more.
