I guess this book was ok this book showed me that i only truly like slow burn i know this book was gonna be a fast read its only 139 pages but I didn’t really enjoy the book i don’t hate it but i also won’t ever read it again some people may actually enjoy this book i didn’t though i probably should have read this book before i read three enemies to lovers or dislikes to lovers Mariana Zapata books in a row cause all her books are long slow burns and allot of them are dislikes to lovers this book was very fast paced and the main characters instantly liked each other after meeting once in the first 10 pages personally not my kinda book not bad though this book is happy ending with no cliffhangers no cheating and no love triangle’s there’s not really a story it’s mostly just the main characters instantly falling inlove and there strangers theres no epilogue either 🤷‍♀️ it’s also somewhat spicy and the male main character is a vampire and the main female character is plus size if you like fast instalove books with spice then this book is for you overall i rated this book 3 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️🙃

Books and Blood

This was a really great read! I mean, how could it have not been with two of my favorite things, books and vampires! This was a meet-cute so to speak, fast-paced read with events occurring over one evening. They meet in a bookstore near closing time. Rosamund is on the hunt for a mysterious author, while Declan is searching for old manuscripts to add to his collection. They have the perfect amount of sexual tension throughout. I loved how Rosamund is confident and in control of her body, curves and fluff included, and knows what she wants. She has moments of where she questions her size, but Declan is there to remind her that she is beautiful and he can’t get enough of her. Declan is completely infatuated with her and the thought of having companionship with someone equally obsessed with books is refreshing and he knows he can’t be without her. Rosamund knows his secrets and is ready to be with him for eternity. The spice was super steamy and Declan had quite the filthy mouth as well. I liked Elle’s take on the transformation process of human to vampire and made it a more intimate experience, sharing essence and the euphoria that comes with blood sharing. I am really glad to have read this and would definitely recommend it!!
