If a hot vampire cornered me in a bookstore and invited me to check out his personal library, I wouldn’t say no either.

I guess this book was ok this book showed me that i only truly like slow burn i know this book was gonna be a fast read its only 139 pages but I didn’t really enjoy the book i don’t hate it but i also won’t ever read it again some people may actually enjoy this book i didn’t though i probably should have read this book before i read three enemies to lovers or dislikes to lovers Mariana Zapata books in a row cause all her books are long slow burns and allot of them are dislikes to lovers this book was very fast paced and the main characters instantly liked each other after meeting once in the first 10 pages personally not my kinda book not bad though this book is happy ending with no cliffhangers no cheating and no love triangle’s there’s not really a story it’s mostly just the main characters instantly falling inlove and there strangers theres no epilogue either 🤷‍♀️ it’s also somewhat spicy and the male main character is a vampire and the main female character is plus size if you like fast instalove books with spice then this book is for you overall i rated this book 3 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️🙃

Books and Blood

This was a really great read! I mean, how could it have not been with two of my favorite things, books and vampires! This was a meet-cute so to speak, fast-paced read with events occurring over one evening. They meet in a bookstore near closing time. Rosamund is on the hunt for a mysterious author, while Declan is searching for old manuscripts to add to his collection. They have the perfect amount of sexual tension throughout. I loved how Rosamund is confident and in control of her body, curves and fluff included, and knows what she wants. She has moments of where she questions her size, but Declan is there to remind her that she is beautiful and he can’t get enough of her. Declan is completely infatuated with her and the thought of having companionship with someone equally obsessed with books is refreshing and he knows he can’t be without her. Rosamund knows his secrets and is ready to be with him for eternity. The spice was super steamy and Declan had quite the filthy mouth as well. I liked Elle’s take on the transformation process of human to vampire and made it a more intimate experience, sharing essence and the euphoria that comes with blood sharing. I am really glad to have read this and would definitely recommend it!!

"I'll give you all the libraries in the world."

For Declan, the centuries have provided little comfort, books, however, have always been his companions. For the years he's lived as a vampire, traveling, writing, collecting - he has never discovered a woman who could rival his love for the written word - until now. When Rosamund appears in his favorite bookstore, standing in front of a pile of old, dusty books, clutching one and asking him sweetly if she's in the way, he knows he's a goner. But little does he know, it was her plan all along to meet Declan - because he's her favorite author and she just has to tell him.

I'M ON MY KNEES HERE. This novella was made for me. This novella was plucked from my wildest dreams and filthiest fantasies and written and wrapped up in a little bow. I have to give the author serious credit because I never would have discovered her had I not run across one of her videos on Instagram and immediately fell head over heels for this gorgeous cover and the concept. I'm not going to BS you, this book is exactly what's described - it's Declan and Rosamund falling head over heels for each other with plenty of romance and goading and biting and it's SO PERFECT.

I would have read 800+ pages about these two dancing around each other, but I have to appreciate the fact Elle M. Drew perfectly paced their meeting, subsequent date, and then tackled the elephant (or vampire) in the room. There were so many lines I highlighted in this book because they just hit different. From Rosamund's love of reading to Declan's absolute besottment of her (I want my own Declan) everything just really, really felt like salve for my soul. It was so wonderful to read about a fat woman getting absolutely worshipped and promised the world. God bless you, Elle.

Also I'm so pissed this doesn't have a physical release, I need this cover on my shelf, I need a signed copy - I need someone to sedate me before I go out to a bookstore slapping my neck and asking anyone in range if they're a vampire with a giant library I can explore.
