books and so much steam!

This is so hot it could set itself on fire and if you love books even a little bit, I’d say it’s a must read!

moves too fast. no chemistry or tension between the leads. why is a 2000 year old vampire so enthralled by some random girl and turns her within hours of meeting her? also dialogue is odd and outdated.

Hadn’t realized this is by an author whose work I’m not a fan of—better than her other works I’ve read. Cute and enjoyable as a fluffy read. Would not revisit.

A quick fun and steamy read!

haha I liked her priorities:
1) Live in a mansion with a massive library
2) be immortal to read indefinitely and enjoy said library
3) Have sex with the guy
Me too girl.. me too

I enjoyed the fat representation and the spice scenes were great. I just felt it was too insta lovey for him and not much for her.

I’m in a reading slump and this was not helping at all. The writing is perfunctory and basic.

I kinda wish... a lot of things about this book. I want answers lol

why is the 1000-year-old vampire called Declan?
why is Rosa named Rosamund?
How can one person be completely plain in every sense but also be a model ready to be painted?
why is the dialogue like a robot talking to its own reflection? so plain, no life and forced.

Good things about the book? I like Rosa's job and her love her knowledge of hand-stitched book covers.

Clearly not my cup of tea and this is my own opinion.
