Every volume I’m like “it cannot get more stressful and sad” and then it does! Every time!

*INHUMAN SCREECHING* THIS WAS SO FUCKING GOOD. I’M ON MY KNEES WEEPING.

The way that Yashiro finally confessed her feelings had me screaming. The way that Hanako saying how much he liked her exactly how she is and doesn’t want her to fade away or drastically change as a supernatural had me sobbing. HOW DARE THEY BE SO DAMN FUCKING CUTE?!?! IT SHOULD BE A CRIME.

Speaking of crimes. Let’s talk about the CRIME I want to commit against Teru. That boy makes me wanna punch him in the face SO BAD. He’s…unsettling…and as always trying to ruin my happiness. The way he was talking to my son Kou? Fucking disrespectful! I cannot stand him!

As for the background story of the Oni? 👀 That was interesting af. I was soooo invested in learning how he came to be who he is. I also enjoyed learning more of how the supernaturals and the ancestors of our main cast are inter-connected. Just 10/10

Tsukasa though… I have trust issues. Why does he want Hanako to destroy the yorishiros of all the school mysteries? What’s HIS agenda? 😭

Regardless…

I fucking loved this volume. What an excellent note to end my 2023 year of reading!
