Wow what a ride

I love When a book breaks my heart and this one did it several times.
My heart broke for Delilah when she was just trying to save her people. I was at a loss for words when I read what would become the tipping point to her transformation.
She was always strong and retreating onto her own mind while trying to save her sanity from the abuse she suffered everyday at the hands of her deranged father.
Knox was the perfect person to help shape her into her destiny.
Here it felt a little like A court of Thorns and roses but I think there was just a few similarities. It was the way the court felt and the friendships they all had.
I cannot wait to see what the next book brings.
