That’s was the weirdest shit I ever read. No plot. Loopholes. And flat characters. Whoever is giving more than 2 stars clearly has not read better developed books. This author needs a good editor for book 2. Will not continue.
DNF. Made it about 25% of the way and there was still no love interest in sight. Pretty boring considering it was being marketed as a fantasy romance. Which, to be fair, all the tik toks about it were done BY THE AUTHOR. I think this was trying too hard to be like ACOTAR but it just completely fell flat.
