This book remind me of ACOTAR, and how Delilah is discovering herself. Slow burn! But definitely worth it at the end!!!!

I hate giving indie authors low reviews but this read like a low grade bootleg version of ACOTAR.

1. Maybe I’m just tripping, but the story felt unoriginal.
2. The characters lacked in every department, and could do with a lot more development. I found them to be dull and generic
3. The writing style made me want to DNF this a bunch of times.

However, I’m thrilled for her that quite a few of the reviews are positive and people enjoy her book, it just wasn’t for me.

very “ACOTAR” like

Because I’m such a huge ACOTAR fan I saw way to many similarities in this book. However!!

I really did enjoy the storyline, I’m very excited to see how it’ll all pan out especially with the Human lands and Delilah’s father and mother etc.
it was actually pretty steady and captivating.

The writing was not for me

If you love to hurt, ACOTAR, Fae, Wingspan, Fantasy...this is a must read. Easily going into my top five reads of the year. I couldn't put this book down, I devoured it. I am dying for more!! I found a new favorite author. Highly highly recommend.

Was the writing the greatest? I dont think so.
Was the plot super original? Also no
Did some parts feel like tog and acotar? Maybe
Did the MC get basically every Power available even though she knew she is fae for a few months? Maybe
Was the plot predictable? Yes
Did I still enjoy reading this book?
Absolutely.
Knox and Delilah truly have my heart, they are so cute together and I am so hyped to see how this continues. I honestly thought that the queen is somehow behind everything at least she is morally grey so well see. I wished that the pov in the whole book was the same, we didnt need to see knoxs pov for one chapter. Also the little family they created deserve truly everything. I feel like this is the perfect read to escape reality for a few minutes.
